One of the great automobile competitions of the early twentieth century was the Fairmount Park road races near Philadelphia from 1908 through 1911. The 1910 edition was won by Len Zengle in a Chadwick racer. Automobile pioneer Lee Chadwick celebrates with his driver, Len Zengle. Zengle and his Chadwick also competed in the tragic first auto races at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway as well as the 1912 Indianapolis 500, where he finished sixth.
