Rauch & Lang Floral Parade Entry

This image was originally published in the March 31, 1910 Indianapolis Star. The photo supported an interesting article about the floral parade that was one of the most anticipated features of the March 1910 Indianapolis Automobile Show. The car was a competitor for awards issued in the "private entry" class, which was one of three categories by which cars were organized. The other two were "dealers" and "unique" class.

This car was a Rauch and Lang Electric and was entered in the private class. Mrs. Frank Fox was at the wheel. She was accompanied by Mrs. E.W. Livensbarger and Mrs. F.R. Atwood. It was decorated with blue and white artificial flowers. Fox was married to driver Frank Fox who competed in the first Indianapolis 500.
