George Heath - 1906

Expatriate George Heath was an American-born driver, but lived in Paris during his racing career as part of the French Panhard team. He is best known as the winner of the inaugural Vanderbilt Cup in 1904 - America's first major auto race. This image came from an article in the July 1906 edition of the trade newspaper, "The Motor World," to support their coverage of the first French Grand Prix.
