What you see here is the starting field for the American Automobile Association (AAA) championship race at the Culver City board track on March 21, 1926. The top-four finishing order appears below. There is good reason to believe this is the race where Fred Comer was injured when a sliver of wood from the track pierced his forehead. He was relieved by Jerry Wunderlich. The top- four finishing order appears below.
