Peter Kries

Here's another image from the Paul Sheedy collection. We see six-time Indianapolis 500 starter Peter Kreis in his Miller race car at Altoona in June 1926. Kreis was killed in May 1934 while practicing for the "500." His name is misspelled in the margin note.
