Image of The Week
In my article about 1912 Indianapolis 500 winner Joe Dawson I mention about how he ran to his 2828 Illinois Street home after his victory. There he retreated to his den - in modern parlance, "man cave." In this contribution from Larry Snyder, the grandson of Joe's brother Charles, we can see a picture of Joe's den, complete with the pennants and many books described in my article. I never dreamed such an image existed and thanks to Larry it is now available to anyone who wants to know just a little bit more about this great auto racing champion.
Check out my article about this great auto racing champion Joseph Crooke Dawson - a man about which too little has been recorded.
