Joan Cuneo at New Orleans

This is a shot of the top American female racing driver of the early 20th century, Joan Cuneo, before a New Orleans Fairgrounds track race in 1909. Cuneo biographer Professor Elsa Nystrom, who provided the photo, indicates that the man pictured with Joan is an AAA official, either Homer George or T.C. Campbell.
