Harvey Herrick at 1911 Cactus Derby

This is an image of Harvey Herrick at the wheel of his National Motor Vehicle Company stock car racer at the 1911 Cactus Derby, probably the biggest victory of a pretty stout career. I doubt this was a factory-backed effort, but it is worth noting that this was about six months prior to National's triumph in the 1912 Indianapolis 500.
