This is the gold medal (reverse side) that Georges Boillot earned for his impressive victory in the 1910 Mont Ventoux Hill Climb in France. Boillot won this event three times - in 1910, 1912 and 1913 - driving a Peugeot on every occasion. See the front side of the medal. Mont Ventoux has a great deal of history in various forms of sport.
