This image of champion road racer Ferenc Szisz is derived from a photo originally published in the July 28, 1906 edition of the Motor World trade magazine. The article it supported is found elsewhere on First Super Speedway. A Hungarian, Szisz drove for the Renault factory team. He won the first French Grand Prix and then returned the following year to finish second in this, the world's first auto race to be referred to as a "Grand Prix."
