Bruce-Brown French GP 1912

I love this photo of the balaclava-clad David Bruce-Brown and his riding mechanic Tony Scudalari standing in front of their 14.3-liter S-74 Fiat just prior to the 1912 French Grand Prix. The event was a two-day affair, with Bruce-Brown leading at the end of the first day. David was disqualified during the second day for refueling away from the pits. There were allegations that his car had been tampered with.
