Bi-Plane in Flight

In the early 20th Century primitive airplanes were a curiosity. Many could not conceive of their practical application because they could not imagine how they could ever be used to haul cargo or more than one or two people. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway staged an air show in June 1910.
