Notes from Bud Miller: Antoine Mourre..was a serious Board Track racer from France…who raced …a sleek…black…#6…Miller race car…in 6 Board track races in 1924…including the Altoona race…where he finished a great 3rd position….many drivers over the years…were struck by large wooden splinters…including..Antoine Mourre..who was hit with a large splinter…at the Fresno Board Speedway…putting a large hole in his engine crankcase.
