Ray Harroun - Marmon Wasp Sketch

This outstanding sketch by artist David Story includes some interesting notes he has made in the margin. The art was inspired by a famous photograph taken by Russian photographer Nathan Lazarnick on the morning of the first Indianapolis 500 in 1911.

This is this best and most comprehensive profile of 1912 Indianapolis 500 Mile Race winner Joe Dawson in existence. I'd be delighted to read something better if someone out there can deliver it.
