Tools for Historical Writing

I thought I'd share a few links that I have found very useful in motor sport historical writing. The first is called "Gazza," and, among many things, they have a handy Time/Speed/Distance calculator. Another is "Measuring Worth," which calculates the value of money in the United States (or colonies) from the 1600's into the 21st Century. Another one that I have found comes in handy is a historical record of auto racing results on historian Quintin Cloud's Web site. The site is a bit challenging to navigate, but the guys behind it are obviously sincere and provide good information that can be helpful in researching details of events long ago. Hope this helps.
