Midget Racers on a Road Course

Believe it or not, midget racers were pitted against Indy cars and Grand Prix racers on the Roosevelt Raceway on Long Island, New York in 1936 and 1937. With the facility teetering on the precipice of bankruptcy in 1939 the midget racers returned for race all to there own.
