Jud Larson & A.J. Foyt - 1964

This is a pretty interesting video of a sprint car race the day after the 1964 Indy 500 which was won by A.J. Foyt. On this day Foyt decided to give grizzled veteran racer and general wild man Jud Larson a ride in his sprint car. Larson made good, winning both his heat and his feature race after battling with 1964 Indy 500 Rookie of the Year Johnny White, a promising young driver whose potential would go unfilled after a paralyzing racing accident just a few days later.
